About Auggie

Auggie is a rare commodity. "Au" in the periodic table of elements represents gold and is derived from the Latin word "aurum," meaning shining dawn. Even his barn name is a perfect fit. Auggie was personally inspected by a former German Olympic 4-In-Hand Team Trainer and Bereiter Grand Prix Dressage Trainer. He was deemed worthy of a $55k price tag as a foal, citing exemplary conformation, movement, extension, suspension, presence, temperament and color. We feel Auggie would command an audience in all imaginable competitions; Dressage, Eventing, Jumping, ranching and would dominate in Working Eq and Doma Vaquera. Auggie has a golden temperament that wins over even the non-horsey person. His never-met-a-stranger, engaging personality coupled with an undeniably regal presence makes him the most exciting stallion prospect we've produced in 25 years. We wouldn't change a thing about him!

Auggie is out of our crowned jewel, Ole de Halconero, one of the few "Hawk" daughters. Ole's sire is an awe-inspiring talent, the Legendary Revised Black Lusitano Stallion, Halconero. Halconero, or Falconer in Portuguese, is 98% Veiga blood with many crosses to the renowned Veiga stallion, Ribatejo. Halconero's acclaimed Military bloodlines explode with brilliant performances in Bull Fighting, Grand Prix Show Jumping and High Level Dressage. We chose this Mega-Talent to built our Foundation Iberian Horse Program. Ole's exquisite dam, XPrima Donna CD, is a princess in a long line of royalty. Ole's granddaddy is the King of Dressage in Brazil, Quarteto do Top, who is himself the son of the King of Kings, Afiancado de Flandes.

Auggie's sire, Bridon Belfrey, RID is a legendary sire of many Class 1 approved stallions and mares. He's produced countless USDF and USEA champions and in all major disciplines, both in-hand and under saddle; dressage, show jumping, eventing, hunters, driving, endurance, vaulting, mounted archery as well as doubling as therapy support. Belfrey is sired by the great Grade A International Show Jumper, Flagmount King, RID.  Belfrey’s dam, Flagmount Belle, RID, won numerous IDHS(NA) championships and earned the prestigious title of Irish Draught Champion of North America. Her flawless conformation destined all of her foals to win IDHS(NA) Champion or Reserve Champion Foal. Belfrey's grand dam is the all-time greatest producing dam of Approved RID stallion sons in Irish Draught history, Gowran Betty, RID. Gowran Betty, RID paired with one of the most notable jumping sires, King of Diamonds, made headlines with 7 Approved Registered Irish Draught stallions.​ Bridon Belfrey, RID comes from very strong distinguished jumping lines of Laughton, Tara, Skippy, Atlantic Boy, Rusheen Hero and infamous, King of Diamonds.

Auggie has been trained daily since birth and fed a specialty formulated feed and supplement program to ensure proper development.
